Continuing our Legoland adventure after the Billings went back to their house, we headed to the Lego Friends section. I went on the carousel ride with the three younger girls while Tyler and Abby bought crepes. Aubrey and Taryn had their picture taken with Olivia near the crepe stand.
We also took a turn on the Fairy Tale Brook ride that the girls really like. There were no lines at this point in the day, so we were walking right onto all the rides, so that was awesome.
The girls were dying to go on the Technic Coaster which they called "the Factory." I rode with all three girls. Tessa was nervous about going on an even bigger roller coaster, but she thought it was ok once it was over.
We had to ride the Dragon roller coaster a couple more times, now that all six of us could ride it together, and because the lines were so short.
Aubrey and Abby were so excited to be the riders in the very back.
Taryn was the only one small enough to ride the Royal Joust ride, so we all waited for her to finish the ride. As she came around the final turn, I took her picture. The girls were so excited because there was a live rabbit in the field next to the riders, so they told every kid who rode by to look for the rabbit. I caught it in my picture too. It's right in front of the big bush.
The next morning, we went to Legoland early to walk through the aquarium. The Billings didn't feel like doing the aquarium because they go to plenty of awesome ones in Japan. We took a picture after we walked through and after the girls got their Lego-scuba masks. They chose to wear the masks for the picture - crazy girls.
We spent the entire morning at the water parks in Legoland where I didn't take any pictures since we were in water all the time. Everyone had a fun time riding the tube rides and just swimming in the water. After lunch, we walked back into Legoland to go on a the last few rides that we missed on our first day and to ride our favorite rides one more time. I brought my camera out again on Captain Cranky's Challenge. My selfie attempt caught all of my family and none of the Billings although Ken and all their boys were on the ride too.
We walked through a small Lego Factory tour and gift shop while walking through the park. I grabbed this picture of all the kids (except Pepper) while we waited for the rest of the adults to come out. It's probably my only picture of the majority of the kids.
We told the Billings about how much we like the Fairy Tale Brook ride, so we went on that one with them. They liked it too. I took a picture of the two boats behind us as they finished up the ride.
The newest ride at Legoland was a Ninjago ride. It was a new 4D ride with 3D glasses and motion detection as you shoot "lasers" at the screen. It was pretty cool except your arms get tired because you have to continually move them to shoot the lasers. The littlest kids did not care for the ride too much because it was pretty loud. At one point, Taryn who rode next me, turned to me and said she had lost her glasses. With the punching motion of her arm, she apparently punched the glasses right off her face and they fell out of the car we were in. We tried telling the worker after the ride, but he didn't seem too concerned. It was pretty funny because Taryn was really scared thinking she was going to get in trouble. We reassured her it was fine, and then she went back to saying she liked the ride. Here's a picture outside the ride with one of the Ninjago characters, Cole.
We spent the last bit of time riding our favorite rides one more time. The little kids chose to ride the Beetle Bounce and Cargo Ace ride again while the big kids took Tyler and Ken on the Technic Coaster.
After the Technic Coaster, some of the kids went with Tyler to ride the Dune Raiders. It's basically a big slide, but we had missed it the first day because the temperatures were too hot on the slides, so it was shut down. The shadows made it hard to take the picture, but Tyler is the adult with Ollie, Grover, and Taryn.
The bigger kids wanted one more ride on the Beetle Bounce, so they all rode together. I love this picture since they're all together and looking so cute waiting for the ride to start.
We also took a couple more turns on the Dragon roller coaster. Grover was just barely too short to ride the Dragon so he got to ride the Royal Joust. I grabbed his picture right before he finished the ride.
I wish we had taken more pictures of both of our families all together, but it's hard to remember to take pictures when you're having so much fun. We really enjoyed our time together with the Billings and love being able to stay in touch with friends we've made. We will cherish these memories forever!
