Abby's Recipe

So I heard about this from my friend Amy and saw a post on her blog too, so here's the idea:
Have your child dictate to you his or her favorite recipe that you make together in the kitchen. Then add the actual recipe. See the cute results. Here's Abby's version of her favorite recipe - Banana Bread!

Banana Bread

1. Mix sugar and butter until it looks like popcorn.
2. Crack 2 eggs and pull them apart. Stir eggs with finger and pour into bowl. Mix more.
3. Peel 3 brown bananas and put on a plate. Smash them with a fork. Add milk and mash it with the fork.
4. Add bananas to all ingredients and mix it.
5. Stir flour, salt, and bake soda, and put it with the other ingredients.
6. Pour it in the oven and then we eat it!

Banana Bread

1 cup sugar
2/3 cup margarine
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
3 mashed bananas
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Cream sugar and margarine, then add eggs, slightly beaten.
2. Mix milk and mashed bananas and then add to egg mixture.
3. Stir together remaining ingredients and add to banana mixture.
4. Split into two pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes.
(Note: You can add chocolate chips to the pan before baking if you have a coco-holic husband like I do.)

Finally, as Abby says, "Then Eat It!"
